Services were excellent, staff was professional and facilities clean and modern. My doctor was educated in South Dakota and his english and communication skills were above average. The human factors involved with the services were also a much better experience than what I have experienced in the U.S because everything was about my health and how I felt, not about sales and the doctors ability to bill me. Total cost of my procedure(s) were 1/4 of what I’d pay in the U.S.

I received a dentist treatment in Medellin Colombia, which bypassed in many ways similar experiences I made in Europe. US-Colombian educated doctor, with a super-modern equipped practice, explaining each step of the procedure very professionally, yet “human”. Staff overall very friendly and professional, the result of the treatment was perfect – at about 30% (or less) of a similar treatment in Europe. Anyways, Medellin/Colombia are always worth a visit, so a great reason to combine both!

I went to a doctor once in Medellin, specifically to the Clinica de Medellin. I only went for a routine checkup regarding moles and anything else possibly related to skin cancer (sunburns etc.). Everything was perfect and very professional – from scheduling the appointment over no waiting time at all, very friendly secretary to the doctor, who seemed very good. No difference at all to Germany and the US, with the addition of quick and professional service. I can only recommend doctors here and have only heard positive things about them.

After two unsuccessful attempts (IVF) at a prestigious clinic in Germany we had an IVF Treatment in Medellin, Colombia. The differences were like Night and Day. Whereas the first clinic was well equipped and was located in a beautiful villa, I felt being treated rather as a statistics than a women wanting a child. Everything was very “mechanic“. Being treated at our clinic in Medellin was a life-changing experience. My doctor spent a lot of time with me and my husband to talk about fears and treatments – I felt really cared for, it was more like talking to a long-lost family friend than to a “technician“. I have recommended several friends to my doctor and they all agree: The service and care received in Medellin is exceptional!
